Simone Lake is the Director and registered architect of LAKE STUDIO and graduated with a Master in Architecture and Bachelor of Applied Science in Architecture from the University of Canberra.
Simone worked with a number of practices in Canberra that were equally passionate about environmentally sustainable design. This developed her integrative approach to architecture, interiors and landscape for each project she is involved in.
Since moving to the Mid North Coast of NSW in 2010, Simone has continued to share her passion in design and promote change in NSW regional design for more affordable and sustainable outcomes.
Simone regularly provides architectural services and advice to local community groups for their projects that would not normally be able to afford professional services. She feels this offers the opportunity to enhance collaborations between the studio, local professionals and community members for the overall benefit for the growth, educational change and economic benefit for the community.
Our studio collaborates with a number of draftspersons, landscape architects, interior designers, town planners and other architects.
The scale and location of the project dictate the number and type of team members we involve in each project to ensure project success.
The team all share a philosophy of learning from nature by designing a creative, nurturing and environmentally focused outcome for our clients.
